Anyway Vista is not the focus here.  Adrian Kingsley-Hughes posted previously a Benchmark comparison of Vista and the upcoming Windows 7 and wisely someone asked to have XP included in the Benchmark. Remeber that the Windows 7 is the Beta version build 6956, so the full release should have much better performance.
